- IT Consultant in the project AGH for the federal health insurance institution (NÖGKK) in St. Pölten, Lower Austria.
- Head of development, responsible for on schedule delivery of software components, customer care, team management, quality assurance and employee training.
August 2008 - November 2008: Erste Sparinvest, Vienna (www.sparinvest.com).
- Professional IT Consultant in the project Kommerzweb 2.0.
- Project planning using agile project management methodologies as well as design of a Web based funds management system using JSF, Ajax, the Spring Application Framework and Continuous Integration as well as Oracle 10i, Subversion, Trac and Maven.
August 2007 - April 2008: Advanced Computing Research Centre (ACRC), University of South Australia, Adelaide (www.acrc.unisa.edu.au).
- Systems Designer and Researcher in a joint research project in cooperation with the „Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization” (ANSTO) in Sydney and the research centre CIEAM in Brisbane.
- Conceptual design of a Service Oriented Architecture for the integration of heterogeneous systems on data and process level at ANSTO using Web Services and the SAP NetWeaver platform.
April 2005 - July 2007: E-Commerce Competence Center (EC3), Vienna (www.ec3.at).
- Software Architect and Researcher in the SemCrypt Project (semcrypt.ec3.at) in collaboration with the Data and Knowledge Engineering Group at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and several industry partners.
- Development of a trustworthy Web Services environment for secure data management using WS-Security, access control for XML documents via XQuery, cryptographic key management and implementation of a graphical user interface based on the Eclipse IDE.

- Development of an analysis environment for monitoring WSDL interfaces and BPEL processes to support change and evolution management of Web Services.
